ルイ・ヴィトン（Louis Vuitton）の2013年春夏新作テキスタイル（スカーフ）「FOULARDS D’ARTISTES」を世界に先駆けDOVERSTREET MARKET GINZAにて披露。マーク・ジェイコブスが影響を受けたアーティスト、スティーブン・スプラウスをはじめ、ロサンゼルス出身のRETNA、ブラジル出身で双子のアーティストOs Gêmeos、そして日本人アーティストAIKOとのコラボレーション。
また、1階と6階では新作テキスタイルと今最も注目の若手女優・忽那汐里を被写体にした写真展「LOUIS VUITTON – FOULARDS D’ARTISTES PHOTO EXHIBITION」が開催されている。こちらは、フランスの雑誌「Purple Fashion Magazine」の編集長を務めるオリヴィエ・ザームが撮り下ろしたもの。

Purple Magazine’s Olivier Zahm was in Tokyo at the end of last week to celebrate 20 Years of his publication. Supported by Louis Vuitton, the editor and photographer paid back in kind with a series of portraits (two of which are pictured below) starring young actress Shiori Kutsuna with S/S 2013 Vuitton scarves. Vuitton collaborates yearly with artists to create patterns for it’s ‘FOULARDS D’ARTISTES’ line. This year saw New York based Japanese Artist AIKO work with prints from the Stephen Sprouse x LV Archive. Both the portraits and scarves are on display at Dover Street Market in Ginza where a small party to celebrate the collab’ was held on Friday evening See Olivier Zahm’s Photo’s from the Opening HERE. The photos and scarves will be on display on the 3rd and 6th floors of Dover Street Market Ginza through until January 8th.
