昨夜（6月12日）、スイスの時計ブランド「スウォッチ（Swatch）」が、デザインを一新して10年ぶりの復刻となるスクーバ「Swatch Scuba Libre（スウォッチ・スクーバ・リブレ）」を発表。銀座ニコラス・G・ハイエック センター（14階）を会場に「この夏のリゾートスタイル」で来場者は南国気分。
銀座ニコラス・G・ハイエック センターといえば、2010年の「RADO YOUNG DESIGN PRIZE 2011 LAUNCH PARTY」を思い出してしまう（こちら）。
それはさておき、昨夜のローンチではヒューマンビートボックスチーム「FOLK:LORE」による圧倒的なパフォーマンスで来場者を魅了。m-floのcome again含む計3曲を披露した歌手の「青山テルマ」によるスペシャルライブ。
3ライン（計9モデル）で構成された「Swatch Scuba Libre」は、1990年〜2003年に発売され新たなフェイスデザインで復活！6月15日より発売開始！詳しくはコチラ！
Wednesday night in Tokyo and we returned to the N.G. Hayek Center in Ginza. Also known as The Swatch Building, the last time we were here our photos covered the facade of the building and we received a special award from The Rado Young Creators Prize in 2010 (see photos here – how time flies). Last night we were there for the launch of Swatch’s Summer 2013 line ‘Scuba Libre’, the aquatically inclined designs can be seen at the bottom of this post. Guests entered through a model of the submarine from the TVCM to enter a world of surfer boys, cocktails and champagne. Our friend Detto K was the first on the decks followed by a fantastic performance by champion human beat box Unit FOLK:LORE. Rainy season has brought damp humidity and it was a pleasure to be back out on the top floor balcony of the building taking in the view of Ginza.
