フォトグラファー、アラーキーこと、荒木経惟氏による個展「写狂老人Ａのフィルム・ノスタルジー」が、本日（5月7日）よりタカ・イシイギャラリー（東京・清澄）にて開催。「まぁ、写真つーか人生は、ノスタルジーだと確信をもったわけだよ」と述べたアラーキーによる、600点もの新作が展示されている。愛猫チロが走り回った自宅のバルコニーを写した作品「楽園だった」をはじめ、昨年3月2日以降にあくまでフィルムにこだわり撮影した展示作品600点は、「生きることは撮ること」とカメラとの関係性を語っている。more info here.

Opening today and running for three weeks is a great opportunity to see new works (at least, unseen works) by Nobuyoshi Araki. This is his 17th solo exhibition at the Taka Ishii Galery and will feature over 600 pieces from 11 different bodies of work. On May 25th a reception party will be held, this is the same day that Araki releases his new book, also titled ‘Film Nostalgia’.
