フォトグラファーを操るモデルとは？そう … 彼女しかいないであろう。我らが「ケイト・モス（Kate Moss）」。どのアングルからも自分がどう撮られるか把握しているケイト・モス。そんな彼女が「KM3D-1」と題された、イギリス出身の映像作家、ベイリー・ウォルシュ（Baillie Walsh）の新作映画、3D映像に登場。9月16日に行われた試写会ではケイトも常連のファッション・カルチャー誌「AnOther Magazine」が全面的にサポート。また、アレキサンダー・マックイーン（Alexander McQueen）が2006年の秋冬コレクションで使用したホログラムが記憶に新しい（HERE）。
「3D」という言葉が広まりはじめたここ数年（ファッション界で）、ハーパス・バザー（Harpers Bazaar）日本版が休刊となってしまったが、誌面上で3Dモードストーリーを見せつけた。また、VOGUE ITALIAでも、3Dファッション・ストーリー集があったりと三次元の世界を立体的に表現している。
Harpers Bazaar Japan just featured a 3-D editorial and a large part of the recent Vogue Italia was also in 3-D format so I guess it was only a matter of time before the growing trend towards fashion films met the phenomenon of 3-D film. Here Kate Moss is captured in 1,000 frames per second by Baillie Walsh for Another Magazine. Walsh was the artist who also worked with Kate on the now iconic Alexander McQueen hologram (view here). This kind of work could lead to amazing portraiture, imagine going to an exhibition of such pieces? It actually reminds me a little of how people appear in pictures in Harry Potter….
