”大人の夜のワンダーランド”へようこそ、2002年に”PARADISE BALL”として新木場のageHaでスタートした日本最大級のゲイナイト。
その後、”Shnagri-La（桃源郷）”へと名を変えイベントが行われるたびに3000人の動員を記録してきた大型野郎パーティー。そんな”Shnagri-La”が、2017年12月16日（土）の15周年を最後に幕を閉じるとアナウンスが。日本国内はもちろん、アジアの各国からこのイベントのために訪れるShangri-Laファンも多く、多い時には4〜5000人もの来場者を集めハウスミュージックにモロ酔いする男たち。
Shangri-la, the biggest gay party in Japan and one of the biggest in Asia, is to come to an end this month. After 15 years of packing out Ageha with thousands of revellers December 16th has been announced as the final. There’s not been much explanation as to why as yet, but we have a sneaky suspicion (and hope) that it might be part of an updating and rebranding of the Tokyo Bay super club’s flagship gay event.
