アディダス オリジナルスのクラシックアイコンが2年ぶりにローンチ。これを祝して昨夜リローンチパーティー「Stan Smith is Back」が開催された。CERME LA CREMEを会場に、2014年クラシックホワイトのプレミアムレザーを使用したスタン・スミス復刻版や、三つ葉のラインがポップアートのように卓球台の上に。そして、ダンス・カンパニー「ELEVEN PLAY（イレブン プレイ）」によるダンスパフォーマンスが披露された。
「Stan Smith（スタンスミス）」は、1973年にテニスシューズとしてデビュー以来、ストリートでも人気を博し、アディダス史上最も売れたシューズへと成長。これまで以上に美しく、そして鮮やかなグリーン。
Wednesday night saw Tokyo’s first big party of the year with Adidas originals Japan celebrating the already sold-out Stan Smith shoe with a party at Creme de la Creme Toyko. Mixing champagne and ping-pong we were entertained with a Scif-fi Digital performance by Dance unit ELEVEN PLAY.
Adidas Originals welcomed back a 50-year old icon with the global drop of their Stan Smith sneaker January 15th. From tennis shoe to street classic Stan Smith 2014 comes in 3 color ways and the opportunity to ‘Stan Yourself’ in white and green pop art from on the tongue, mine looks like a wanted poster above.
