10年前に開始した「H&M」のコラボレーションライン。なんと、BALENCIAGAの新クリエイティブ・ディレクターに就任した「Alexander Wang（アレキサンダー・ワン）」が、米国デザイナー初のコラボレーションと野外音楽フェス「コーチェラ・ミュージック・フェスティバル」で発表された。ウィメンズ＆メンズのウェアほか、アクセサリー類を展開。
「H&Mのデザイナー・コラボレーションの一端を担えることを光栄に思います。H&Mチームとの仕事はわくわくする、楽しい過程でした。彼らは限界を押し広げたり、クリエイションの土台を設けることにとてもオープンです。このコラボレーションはブランドALEXANDER WANGとライフスタイルの要素をより幅広い層の人々に体験して頂ける、素晴らしい機会になるでしょう。」と述べている。
Over the weekend H&M announced what is set to be one of their mostly highly anticipated collaborations yet…. ALEXANDER WANG x H&M. Set for a November 6th launch the Balenciaga Creative Director is set to helm a collection spanning clothes and accessories to hit 250 stores worldwide. The reveal was celebrated at Coachella as part of H&M Loves Music with a party co-hosted by Wang. H&M’s annual collaborations have included LANVIN, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and VERSACE, Alexander Wang is the first American Designer and this is sure to be a highly coveted collection.
