大人気漫画「進撃の巨人 – ATTACK ON TITAN」が＿遂に実写映画化として8月1日から全国東宝系で公開する。前後篇2部連作での”超大型”プロジェクト。2009年（創刊号）から「別冊少年マガジン」で連載が開始された諫山創による同名漫画。既刊16巻（2015年5月時点）、全世界累計発行部数5,000万部の大人気コミックとして世界中で話題に。また、ロサンゼルス・ハリウッドの中心に位置する名門劇場エジプシャン・シアターにてワールドプレミアが開催される（7月14日）。ジャパンプレミアは7月21日に東京国際フォーラムで行われる。（ジャパンプレミアへの応募はこちら！）

The live action version of ‘ATTACK ON TITAN’ is set to premiere at The Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles on July 14th ahead of its August release. Director Shinji Higuchi will be in attendance as well as the films stars Haruma Miura and Mizuhara Kiko.
The film will be released by Toho Co. Ltd. in two parts in Japan on August 1 and September 19, 2015 with FUNimation Entertainment picking up distribution rights of the theatrical, home entertainment, video on demand and broadcast rights to the upcoming Japanese live-action feature film “Attack on Titan” across the Americas (North America, Central America and South America).
“Attack on Titan” is based on the popular manga series of the same name (“Shingeki no Kyojin” in Japanese), which tells the story of a world where most of humanity has been destroyed by giants and where the last of mankind fights to survive behind three concentric walls – walls that were once impenetrable to the giants. Series creator Hajime Isayama worked directly with the film’s producers to create the screen adaptation.
