On Tuesday night CHANEL presented their pre-fall Metiers d’Arts collection in Paris. The celebration of French craftsmanship was this time inspired by India. Colonial feast banquet tables lined the runway for a collection which fused the best in French couture with the outlandish styles and heavily embellished fashions of India. A tiny fraction of the hundreds of hours of work and meticulous attention to detail that goes into each piece can be seen in the video below with the full show above.
