リンカン・センター（Lincoln Center）にて発表されたシャーロット・ロンソン（Charlotte Ronson）の2011/12年秋冬コレクションでは、もっとも日本人消費者好みのコレクションだったと思える。音楽を担当したのは妹のサマンサ・ロンソンで、もう一人のロンソンファミリー、アナベル・デクスター・ジョーンズ（Annabelle Dexter-Jones）はモデルとしてランウェイに登場したほか、マイフェイバリット、イリナ・ラザルヌ（Irina Lazareanu）も登場したのだった。アフターパーティでは、ショー同様サマンサのDJに彼女のフレンズと思われるライブパフォーマンスが行なわれた。マークことCobrasakeのウェブサイトでは、バックステージの様子がちらほら。HERE.
The floral patterns, knits and shorts over ripped tights made Charlotte Ronson’s A/W 2011/12 show one of the most Japan consumer ready collections to be shown during New York fashion week. Taking place last Saturday at the Lincoln Center with Sister Samantha Ronson on the decks, the Ronson family affair was completed with youngest sister Annabelle Dexter-Jones taking her turn on the runway (and pictured bottom with Irina Lazerrau. Admittedly this is not the kind of style the majority of our friends where or you will see in Tokyo Dandy club photos, but it is one of the most predominant styles in Tokyo.
The after party was sponsored by Pepsi promoting it’s new ‘Skinny Can’, pop-art like quotes promoting New York lifestyle adorned the walls as people gossiped while looking over their shoulders to see who was coming and going. A girl did some kind of vocal performance and jigged around on stage for a while, Samantha Ronson demanded applause.
