伝記映画ファッション・デザイナー ココ・シャネルの若き日を描いたストーリー COCO AVANT CHANEL（ココ・アヴァン・シャネル）が公開予定を発表。また、7月3日より新橋演舞場にてGabrielle CHANEL（ガブリエル・シャネル）舞台も公演を予定している。また、6月に全国公開されるCOCO CHANEL（ココ・シャネル）では、劇場窓口にて当日一般チケットをお買求めの方に先着で特典として特製パールストラップをプレゼントという嬉しいサプライズが。以下2つの作品は、シャネル社が正式に協力のもと案内をしている。

As Karl Lagerfeld protects the legacy of Coco Chanel on the runway, cinematically the spirit of Mademoiselle Chanel is to be kept alive in two eagerly anticipated feature films. ‘Coco Avant Chanel’ will be realeased by Warner Brothers in September this year. Starring Audrey Tatou the movie tells the story of the designer before her fashion house became successful, view the trailer HERE.
“Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky” was the closing film of the 2009 Cannes film festival. It chronicles the story of an affair between the two title namesakes which took place in Chanels villa outside of Paris in 1920 – the year Chanel No.5 was created. This is set to be released in 2010.
The two movies have the backing of Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld has been involved in the production of both. Expect great cinematography and even better costumes.
