「同じものは二度と作らない」と言う天才ファッションデザイナー川久保玲（Rei Kawakubo）によるコム・デ・ギャルソン（Comme des Garçons）の2011年春夏コレクションが発表された。モノトーンカラーのみを使用した最新コレクションでは、黒のオーバーサイズジャケットに、レザーのミニワンピで始まり、左右（前身頃）丈の長さが違う3ボタンジャケット。なんだか、個人的に一昔前のギャルソンが戻ってきたような気が。
Comme des Garçons S/S 2011 isn’t stunning in the typical flashy sense of a normal fashion show, there is nothing typical about Rei Kawakubo’s designs and there never has been. What does amaze is the ability to keep to the brands core identity whilst managing to consistently come up with inventive changes that stun each season. The pieces here look incredible. The juxtaposition between tailored and non-tailored, the contrasting fabrics….. if you are going to wear black then this is how it should be worn.
