4ルックで表現したスタイルと、7カテゴリー（チェック、ジャガード、クロス、ドット、ペイズリー、レオパーﾄﾞ、タイト）のそれぞれが確立された世界観。と申し出た木村多津也（Tatsuya Kimura）と吉田早苗（Sanae Yoshida）による「DISCOVERED（ディスカバード）」の2011年春夏コレクションが発表された。題して、「FOUR YOU」。前身頃全体に網網のクロスを使用したルックで始まり、程よいウォッシュ加工のデニムパンツがロンドンの悪ガキを思い浮かべる。気になるフレーズ（英語での）が散りばめられたシャツ。そして、終盤ちょこっと出てきたレオパードのパイピングTシャツにジャケットたち。ロンドンのパンクの雰囲気と東京のストリートがミックスしたように思える。それはさておき、来年の夏のストリートは沢山のチェック（柄）たちがすれ違うだろう。SEE MORE AT THE JFW WEBSITE HERE
If there is a trend running through the mens shows at Japan Fashion Week then it’s most definitely check patterns. DISCOVERED used check in red, pink, blue and green for their S/S 2011 collection ‘Four You’ which pulled off another of the season trends – punk. Denim on denim brightened by red boots and braces, pleated details on the back of shorts making a kilt/short combo which is an example of how creative designers are becoming with mens leg wear. This was the 3rd DISCOVERED runway show, and the third consecutive time the brand has delivered a different message from the last.
