あれから10年、「ELLEGARDEN」が10年ぶりに「THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN」と名付けたタイトルで、約束の復活ツアーを開催する。遡ること2008年（TOKYODANDYを始めた年でもあり、非常に思入れ深い年）、活動休止のアナウンスから、ラストショーとなった新木場STUDIO COSTでのエモーショナルなステージ、ヴォーカル・細美武士を含む4人はそれぞれが別のステージで活躍するも、ファンの声は止まず、日本語と英語を混ぜたピュアな歌詞、細美武士の熱いメロディーと待ちに待った活動再開のお知らせ。「ただいま、全員笑顔にすっかんな:-)」と投稿した細美武士、WELCOME BACK!!!!
After a 10 year haitus, one of the most popular bands in J-Rock history are back – ELLEGARDEN have announced a 3-date tour for August 2018. ‘THE BOYS ARE BACK I TOWN TOUR’ will play at Shinkiba Studio Coast August 8th, Sendai Pit August 10th and ZOZO Marine Stadium August 15th.
EllEGARDEN were the indie band that went major by marrying amazing melodies to mixed english and japanese lyrics. No matter how big they got, their fandom retained an inclusive indie-vibe. Ten years have passed since the group went on Hiatus, which feels emotional as that’s the ten years for which we’ve been doing Tokyo Dandy.
