This morning SMASH revealed the first artist lineup for FUJI ROCK 2020. Headliners The Strokes are returning to the festival for the first time in 14 years, we were lucky to see them back in 2006 and can’t wait for their return. Tame Impala, Disclosure, Major Lazer and FKA Twigs join the list of 33 artists announced so far.
With the bleak situation currently presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, this gives us something to look forward to. Fuji Rock 2020 had already moved from its usual slot at the end of July to August 23rd, 24th and 25th due to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. With the Olympic themselves currently being called into question, anything could happen, but we have to allow ourselves to live with some hope.
