Gareth Pugh rejected a runway presentation for his S/S 2011 collection, favoring to show in video format. The short film, directed by Ruth Hogben, is fantastic, and would probably have been a lot cheaper than a show to produce. But for buyers and buzz I’m sure the real thing is still better (as well as a video).
