黒のワンピース姿でオープニングを飾ったユミ・ランバート、マドモアゼル・ユリアが手がける「GROWING PAINS」初のランウェイショーお披露目。現代に生きる私たちにとっての栄養の一種であると捉え、戦場に赴き優しく強い心で人々を助けるナースからインスパイアされた今回のコレクション、アウターからドレス、小物まで、アイテムのシルエットには世界大戦が佳境を迎えた1940年代の女性服を思わせるフォルムを多用。
On top of a car park in central Shibuya Monday night, the runway debut for Mademoiselle Yulia’s brand ‘Growing Pains’. The showing was part of ‘At Tokyo‘, a special project during Amazon fashion Week Tokyo that spotlights 3 brands to be showcased, featured and sold on amazon.co.jp. For Fall 2017, Growing Pains envisioned fashion as ‘Nourishment’ for the battlefield of modern times. This was recognised in nurses uniforms in 40’s silhouettes evolving into a military hybrid.
