そう、残念なニュースを耳にしてしまった。今までi-Dマガジンは毎月一回刊行していたものの、今年の夏9月から年に6回の発刊となってしまった。不況状況が続く世の中、特に出版業界はとても厳しいと言われているこの時勢。日本だけでなく、海外でも休刊してしまった雑誌は多くないだろう。過去に大好きだった”The Face”マガジンも2004年に休刊してしまっている。i-Dマガジンだけは休刊してほしくない。

We are really saddened by the news that from this Summer i-D magazine is only going to be published 6 times a year. Blame this shitty recession. We already lost the face magazine in 2004, it would be tragic to see i-D magazine go to!
From September this year the magazine will have September, October, November then February, March and April issue only. This makes sense as these months surround the major fashion weeks but we will still miss our monthly i-D fix.
