i-D magazine are putting out 9 covers for their pre-Spring issue. 4 take on an ethnic Asian theme, whilst the others feature Victoria Beckham, Lara Stone, Lara Mullen and Matt Ardell, Stella Tenant and Dylan Riley. I like each cover but I think 9 covers is a bit much, it makes each issue less iconic. I know by doing this they hope to increase sales (more covers appeal to more tastes from newsstands) but whilst i’ve never bought more than one copy of an issue i have missed out on buying an issue because of waiting to find the cover I liked best.
