フォトグラファーでデュオの、オート･アラス（Mert Alas）＆マーカス・ピコー（MarcusPiggott）が、毎シーズン話題となるミュウ ミュウ（miu miu）09・年春夏キャンペーンを撮り上げた。イメージモデルには、 アメリカ出身の女優ケイト・ホームズ（Katie Holmes）が起用された。彼女がモデルを勤めるということで心配していたが、とても素敵なキャンペーンになってる。夕日をバックに･･･。
ちなみに、06年・秋冬キャンペーンには、日本とロシアのハーフモデル太田莉菜を起用し、07年・春夏には、リンジー・ローハン（Lindsay Lohann）。過去起用モデルを見るだけでどれだけ話題になったかが分かるだろう。
Mert and Marcus shot Katie Holmes for Miu Miu SS09. I was a little concerned about how this might turn out but it’s alright. It would still be better if they used models though – it’s not as if Katie Holmes brings any character or personality to the brand. Maybe she did it for free.
