27日の夜NPO団体Designers Against AIDSが共同で、Fashion Against AIDSコレクションを発表し、売り上げの25%を世界中のHIV/AIDS対策プロジェクトへと寄付される企画に、今回参加しているケイティ・ペリーがH&M原宿店でミニ・ライブを行った。また、ライブ直前にケイティからホットなメッセージも送られている。「HIVはとても怖い病気よ。そして誰にでもかかってしまう病気で、一人ひとりが認識しないと駄目なの。また、人間誰しも忘れてしまうことってあると思うの。でも、このプロジェクトのお陰で再認識できるチャンスを頂いたわ。私はこのプロジェクトに参加できたことで、HIVについてのメッセージを沢山の人々に伝え、再認識する力になれればと思ったわ。」と彼女は言う。
また、日本ではどこで買い物しますか？そして、どこのお店がお気に入りですか？という質問に対し、「ジェレミー・スコットを扱ってる原宿のFaline Tokyoが大好き。」と言う。
キャサリン・ハムネット（Katheine Hamnett）、ナード（NERD）、 オノ・ヨーコ（Yoko Ono）、 シンディー・ローパー（Cyndi Lauper） エステル（Estelle）、ディータ・ヴォン・ティース（Dita Von Teese）らも今回このプロジェクトに参加している。
そして、その後はライブに入り3曲も歌ってくれた。ライブの様子はH&Mのオフィシャルでチェックすることができる。また、その時のDJを担当したマドモアゼル・ユリア（Mademoiselle Yulia）も会場を盛り上げ、途中ケイティの曲で更にヒートアップ。沢山のファッション関係者、メディア、セレブリティーらも駆け付け最高のパーティーだっただろう。これを機に、HIVという病気を再認識してほしい。もちろん、セックスは最高だが自分自身を守るためにもコンドームを使用してほしい。安全なプレイを ENJOY ！！！
On Wednesday night Katy Perry took to the stage in H&Ms Harajuku store to kick of a global campaign against HIV and AIDS. Fashion Against Aids raises money to fight the disease, a cause Perry herself said many people had kind of forgotten. Katy joins artists and designers such as Katheine Hamnett, NERD, Yoko Ono, Cyndi Lauper, Estelle and Dita Von Teese in designing T-Shirts and body suits from which 25% of total sales will go to fight the cause. After Katy Perry’s three song set (click here to see her performance) Mademoiselle Yulia hit the decks and our friends hit the stage as the fashion media and celebrities who had gathered for the event bought T-shirts from the campaign. It was a really fun night, but the message is clear. HIV/AIDS is still out there. Sex is great but protect yourself and your lovers – use a condom. Be safe.
