アーティスト田名網敬一の新作個展 「夜桜の散る宵闇」が、渋谷のアートギャラリー「NANZUKA」にて10月25日より開催される。
本展では、横幅3メートルの大作「夜桜の散る宵闇」をはじめ、新作ペインティングほか、大型の立体作品などを発表。新作の立体作品は、2012年に制作された「赤い太鼓橋」をモチーフにした一連のシリーズの新作で、渡ることのできない橋の上に飛行機に乗ったキャラクターが鎮座している力作なのだ。田名網氏は、「暗い過去の体験も自身の性格によってポジティブな表現に交換してしまう」と語っている。詳しくはこちら！

We’re big fans of Keichi Tanaami, one of a handful of Contemporary Japanese Artists who I strongly believe does not get the level of recognition he deserves here in Japan. The 78 Year old has been creating psychedelic manifestations of his personal history in recent works, a chance to see which with ‘Cherry Blossoms Falling in the Evening Gloom’ at NANZUKA Gallery takes place 25th October to the 13th December 2014.
