ダンヒル（Dunhill）のクリエイティブ・ディレクターとして2008年3月に就任した、イギリス出身のファッションデザイナー、キム・ジョーンズ（Kim Jones）が2011年春夏をもって退任することが明らかとなった。少し前から流れていた情報だが、早いような気もする。が、個人的には彼の今後のデザインワークが楽しみすぎる。現時点で何か新しいことを始めているような気もするし。いや。確実に何か企んでいるはず。3年ぶりとなる自らのブランド再スタート？「Kim Jones」。WE LOVE YOU KIM!!!
Kim Jones has stepped down from his post at Dunhill after two and a half years of giving the traditional British brand a well needed and expertly executed update. What next for Kim? Two books are in the works, and, although not yet confirmed, we home for the return of the designers KIM JONES label. He’s won the British Fashion Council Menswear Designer of the year twice, in 2006 and 2009. His spirit and style embody a particular type of British boyishness we look forward to seeing on the runway again. We love you Kim, GOOD LUCK!
