ルイ・ヴィトンのメンズ・スタイル・ディレクター退任発表後初となる第1弾プロジェクト。キム・ジョーンズとジーユーのコラボレーション「KIM JONES GU PRODUCTION」が遂に発売される。
In the first project since his epic bow at Louis Vuitton (merely weeks ago), Kim Jones has been announced as a collaborator with Japan’s GU. ‘KIM JONES GU PRODUCTION’ will update and re-release apparel from the Designers namesake brand’s archive.
マックイーンやアンブロと並行して自身の名で当時の若者を虜にしたキム・ジョーンズ。今回のコラボレーションは、2008年に活動を休止した「KIM JONES」のアーカイブコレクションを、最新のスタイルにアップデートしたウィメンズとメンズを展開。
Having ceased operations in 2008, pieces from the Kim Jones label have become highly coveted by collectors. This collaboration, developed for both men and women, will enable a new generation to discover the roots of one of contemporary fashion’s biggest names.
