2013年に文化服装学院を卒業した「Leonard Wong」のコスチューム・エキシビションが高円寺のGARTER（キタコレ）にて開催されている。これまでレディー・ガガへの衣装提供や英国版「VOGUE」主催の若手デザイナーアワードのファイナリストに選出されている。2度目となる今回のエキシビションでは、コスチュームコレクションはもちろん、ビデオインスタレーションも見ることができる。是非足を運んでみるべし。
Kicking off the year we headed to GARTER at Kita Kore Building for a look at the work of Tokyo based Designer Leonard Wong. Our photos of the exhibition didn’t do the clothes justice so we take an overlook at the Bunka Graduate’s work with these look-books images from present and previous collections. The uni-sex pieces are constrictive plays on traditional motifs in leather, like a classic Disney Princess of the Maleficent ilk given a contemporary re-boot.
