ブリティッシュトラディショナル「MACKINTOSH（マッキントッシュ）」の日本初の旗艦店が8月31日より東京・南青山にオープン。それに先駆け29日の夜にはレセプションパーティーが開催された。会場には、マッキントッシュをこよなく愛す顔ぶれ。マッキントッシュといえば、1923年にチャールズ・マッキントッシュによる発明され、ハイテク素材が誕生したことで、英国上流階級の人々の間で人気となり今なお愛され続けている。
会場には、シューズデザイナー、ノリタカタテハナ、モデルの富永愛、エリ・ローズ、秋元梢、大森美知らの姿が。クラシックでモダンな英国ならではの雰囲気。

British outerwear brand Mackintosh have opened a Flag Ship Store in Tokyo’s Aoyama district. The store is the perfect show case for Mackintosh’s contemporary classics. Combining traditional techniques and fabrics dating back from the brands inception in 1823 with simple modern sophistication, the brand is as popular now as it was when word on horse drawn carts almost two centuries ago. Mackintosh is so ingrained within British culture as a waterproof coat, ‘pack-a-mac” was the phrase used whenever heading out in the rain (which was quite a lot of the time growing up in Yorkshire).
Musicians on each floor set a nice atmosphere for the guests at the party including Designer Noritaka Tatehana and models Elli-Rose, Omori Michi, Akimoto Kozue and Tominaga Ai all pictured below.
