見たい物しか見ない、撮りたい物しか撮らないと宣言してきた写真家のマリオ・テスティーノ（Mario Testino）が、新しい写真集をリリース。カーニバルで有名なあのブラジルのRio（リオ・デ・ジャネイロ（Rio de Janeiro））市で撮り下ろした写真を一つのBOOK。題して、”MARIO DE JANEIRO TESTINO” !! 表紙モデルには、ブラジル出身のジゼル・ブンチェン（Gisele Bundchen）。個人的に東京での写真展を期待する。

People talk about the way in which Anna Wintour came across in ‘The September Issue’, but for us Mario Testino didn’t come across as the sharpest of characters. It’s great that we have this new book to remind us of his talent, ‘Mario De Janeiro Testino’ is to be released this December. From a young age Testino has been a visitor to Rio, many of the images in his previous book, ‘Alive’ and ‘Any Objections?’ were taken there. The sensuality and energy of the city is the muse for some great shots.
