社会的な混沌の渦のなかで新しい価値を＿「ミハラヤスヒロ」2016年春夏コレクションが東京で発表された。メンズー芸術思想である「DADA」をインスピレーションに、ウィメンズー1920年代よりドイツで勃興した芸術運動「新即物主義」＝「New Objectivity」からアイデアを。
パリで発表されたメンズとウィメンズをミックスした今コレクションは、レイヤードのオンパレード。カラーパレットは、ブラックで始まり、グレー、デニム、カーキ、オフホワイトと全体的に暗めのトーン 。ダダイズム＝芸術思想を彼のデザインソースに置き換え、カジュアルながらもフォーマルにミリタリーと過去を振り返りつつ、新しいフォルムを表現している。異素材切り替えで異なる表情、切りっぱなしのヘムラインにダメージ加工のデニム、春夏らしい風になびく素材。シルエットではミリタリーテイストのオーバーサイズやロールアップされたボトムス、ひざ丈まで伸びた軽量のコートなど。
何気なく見入ってしまう街頭スクリーンに路上ライブ＿そう、コレクションはもちろ、渋谷スクランブル交差点のモニター放映・渋谷ヒカリエ前でのアコーディオン生演奏・そして、ショー会場となった渋谷ヒカリエホールAの3つの連動コンテンツを埋め込んだ現代らしい東京ならではの演出。
Having shown in Europe since 2006, Mihara Yasuhiro is one of if not the most recognizable names on this weeks Tokyo Fashion Week schedule. Having celebrated Japanese style and culture in Europe with kimono fabrics, performances and the use of Japanese models and actors in his seasonal campaigns, Mihara brings his experience back for an accomplished MBFWT show. Showing men’s and women’s together, the male ‘DADA’ and female ‘New Objectivity’ collections were united by a largely blue, black, grey and kahki. A hybrid of formal styles presented informally, a live feed to an accordion player outside the venue provided the sound track with Mihara-san taking his post-show bow alongside the busker.
