1743年の創業以来、275年にも渡り祝福と賞賛のシンボルとしてあらゆる喜びの瞬間を創造してきた「モエ・エ・シャンドン」が、6月9日に「MOËT GRAND DAY 2018」と名付けて世界78カ国で同時開催を果たした。
モエ・エ・シャンドンの魔法に包まれたこの日は、”Share The Magic Of Champagne（シャンパンの魔法を世界中に）”というモエ・エ・シャンドン三代目当主の願いのもと、東京・渋谷に新しくオープンした”hotel koe tokyo”をメイン会場に、1日限りの「MOËT GRAND DAY 2018」が開催された。
前日のオープニングセレモニーでは、特別に設置されたゴールドのシャンパンタワーが登場し、スペシャルゲストには先月30歳の誕生日を迎えたばかりだという女優の黒木メイサを迎えて乾杯が行われた。その後のセレブレーションでは、俳優の別所哲也によるグラントトーストが行われ、訪れたゲスト陣を忘れられない特別なモーメント #MOETMOMENT へと導いた。
太陽が沈む美しい夕日とともに、豪華4人のシェフ（掛川哲司（Sincère）、石井真介（Ode）、生井祐介（LATURE）、室田拓人）が手がけるモエ・エ・シャンドンとのマリアージュコースの”The Evening”では、雑誌「LEON」でモデルとして活躍するパンツェッタ・ジローラモも駆けつけ、シンガーソングライターの bird によるドラマチックな歌声が会場中に鳴り響いていた。

A huge billboard at Shibuya’s iconic crossing announced the arrival of Moët day in the area last week with Hotel Koe playing host to ‘Moet Grand Day’ 2018 events. All over the world,Moët & Chandon champagne is the chosen drink for celebratory moments, so it makes sense that Moët Grand day was created to celebrate Moët itself. Guests could experience three types of ‘Moët Moment’ whether it be daytime, evening or night. Tokyo Dandy attended the pre-party on Friday night with friends excited to see legendary DJ Towa Tei. We returned on the second evening to enjoy a gourmet dinner pairing a seasonal menu including with four types of Moët and music by singer-songwriter bird. A day to celebrate the drink we e njoy throughout the year.
