少し前からゴシップとなっていた楽しみすぎるこのニュース。そう … ガガの専属スタイリストとしても知られるニコラ・フォルミケッティ（Nicola Formichetti）が、「ティエリー・ミュグレー（Thierry Mugler）」のクリエイティブ・ディレクターに就任したのだ。現ディレクター、ローズマリー・ロドリゲス（Rosemary Rodriguez）を後にメンズ、レディース共に兼任。
1980年代、90年代のファッションの中心地にいたミュグレーは素晴らしいデザイナーだ。下記映像は1995年の「VH1 Fashion Awards」で披露したティエリー・ミュグレーによるファッションショー。見よ、一斉に出てくるモデルたち、そして演出、見てる側をドキドキさせる特別なショーにすぎない。そうこの映像は1995年のものです。CONGRATULATIONS NICOLA FORMICHETTI!!!
It’s official, set to debut with an A/W 2010/11 collection – Nicola Formichetti will be the Creative Director of Thierry Mugler! Mugler is a visionary designer who brought drama, theatrics and amazing runway shows to fashion throughout the 80’s and 90’s. His show that opened the first VH1 Fashion Awards in 1995 (video below) is testament to this. With Lady Gaga as muse who knows where Formichetti will take the brand. As Creative Director he will oversee Sébastien Peigné as womenswear designer and Romain Kremer as menswear designer. Congratulations Nicola! So excited to see your work.
