“サンリオ”とのコラボレーション”、インスピレーション源となった”ホテルオークラ東京”、和のディテールが散りばめられた”ジャポニズム”満載なフレンチブランド「Olympia Le Tan（オランピア・ル・タン）」。
アラーキー？登場「A SENTIMENTAL DREAM」と題した2016年春夏イメージ映像が公開された。
ドイツ出身のフォトグラファー兼フィルムメーカーのノーバード・シェルナーをディレクターに、秋元梢、秋元優、萬波ユカと3人のモデル起用した”オランピア・ル・タン”イメージ映像。コレクションでは、アラーキーこと、荒木経惟の代表作であるポラロイド作品を、オランピアの父親でイラストレーターでもあるピエール・ル・タンが一つ一つ丁寧に書き起こしたイラストシリーズを表現。撮影場所には、インスピレーション源ともなった和の落ち着きをもたらす「日本の伝統美」がそのまま演出されたホテルオークラのロビー。
Olympian Le-Tan presents her Spring/Summer 2016 collection through ‘A Sentimental Dream’, a film taking its name from Photographer Nobuyashi Araki’s seminal work ‘A Sentimental Journey’. Araki takes a starring role (is it really him?) in the Norbert Schoerner Directed short which features Akimoto sisters Kozue & Yu alongside model Manami Yuka. The legendary photographer tosses polaroids on a tatame floor which is strewn with Le-Tan’s trademark embroidered novel clutches which this time round include Mishima’s ‘Confessions of a Mask’ and Kawabata’s ‘Snow Country’. The kinbaku images for which Araki is known globally are played out on rope embellishments and detailing throughout the collection with illustrated images of Araki Polaroids printed on silks and the afore-mentioned clutches. ‘Hotel Olympia’ motifs are in reference to the Designers love of the Hotel Okura, the demolition of which inspired this collection.
