”H&M”と”Versace”のコラボレーション”VERSACE for H&M”のお披露目がニューヨークで行われた2011年11月8日。ショー会場ではもちろん、スペシャルゲストとしてアフターパーティーでライブを披露した「プリンス」。
あの日のことは一緒忘れない。終盤のパープル・レインでは、感動のあまり涙を流してしまった。

As shocking as it is saddening, Prince is dead at 57. He was part of the holy trinity of legends with Madonna and Michael Jackson, all born in 1958 and delivering the music, style and visuals that defined pop music and pop culture from the 80’s onwards. His talent as a musician was unparalleled.
In 2011, we were blessed to have been at the launch of VERSACE for H&M in New York city. Prince, a long time collaborator and friend of the VERSACE family, had been asked by Donatella to perform at the after party. We elbowed past the cast of Gossip Girl (it was 2011) to get to the front and enjoyed close contact with one of the best performers of our time.
