東京ミッドタウン・ホールにて発表された廣川玉枝（Tamae Hirokawa）による「SOMARTA（ソマルタ）」2012年春夏コレクション。テーマは「鳥」。さて … 鳥をテーマにしたコレクションを目の前に、どんなショーを想像していたかな？正直 … 頭の中にはフェザーしか浮かばなかった。が、ショーでは一切フェザーを使うことなく、鳥のディテール、シルエットにフォーカスをあてたピースが。もちろんヘアメイクも鳥をイメージしたトータル演出。個人的に … 尖ったトライバル調のグラフィックに、つま先のゴールド（鳥の爪？）の爪が気になってしまった。

Birds were the inspiration for Somarta’s S/S collection shown at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Tokyo. The influence was most apparant in the beautifully vrafted angular hair styles sported by each model. Else where, claw like accessroies were attatched to shoes, which were somewhat of a let down having had Noritaka Tatehana provide the footwear foe previous collections. Somartas birds were more Princely then exotic, for some strange reason it reminded me of the ‘Mysterious Cities of Gold’ (not a bad thing!). See for yourself in the full collection video below.
