ソフィア・コッポラ（Sofia Coppola）監督による新たな映画「サムウェー（Somewhere）」が楽しみすぎる。前作「マリー・アントワネット（Marie-Antoinette）」に続き話題が耐えない。また、2010年9月より開催される第67回ベネチア国際映画祭の最高賞にあたる金獅子賞を争うコンペティション部門への出品が予想されている。
ロサンゼルス・ウエストハリウッドのサンセット大通りに面したセレブ御用達の高級ホテル・シャトー・マーモントを舞台に、俳優、スティーブン・ドーフ（Stephen Dorff）を迎えたコメディになっている。

‘Somewhere’ is the new movie by Sofia Coppola which is set to debut at the Venice film Festival in September this year before being distributed worldwide in December. It stars Stephen Dorff as a hard-living Hollywood star and Elle-Fanning as his teenage daughter. The the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood serve as the setting, this is not the first time a hotel has featured heavily in one of Coppolas movies, 2003’s ‘Lost in Translation’ gave worldwide fame to Tokyo’s Park Hyatt hotel.
