カナダ・モントリオールからスタートした今回の旅、友人の結婚式のためモントリオールから車で1時間半先のモン トランブランへ。緑豊かな湖のほとりでカナダの紫外線を浴び、カヌーやカヤックでスローライフを満喫。カナダの後に向かった先はニューヨーク、黒人文化＝ハーレムの歴史と文化を巡るグッチと伝説的テーラー「ダッパー・ダン」との貴重なツアーに参加してみたり。旅の終盤では、デビュー作から20周年を迎えたローリン・ヒルの「ミスエデュケーション」ライブツアーに参戦。サポートアクトには懐かしのバスタ・ライムスとM.I.A.が会場を盛り上げていた。
We spent the past couple of weeks in North America where we travelled to Canada to celebrate the wedding of our best friend at a beautiful lakeside location a short road trip outside of Montreal.
After the wedding we spent some time in New York. Between visiting Harlem with Gucci and Dapper Dan and attending a Lauryn Hill show (pictured below) we spent lots of time up on the roof with a beautiful view of the city, enjoying BBQ’s and take out Chinese food together with Moet Ice Imperial, champagne over ice, our favorite Summer drink.
