1962年東京生まれ。村上 隆（TAKASHI MURAKAMI）。
世界3カ国4都市を巡る村上隆の展覧会 “©Murakami” 。2007年10月29日にロサンゼルス現代美術館をか皮切りに、ブルックリン美術館、そして現在フランクフルト近代美術館（MMK Musesum Fuer Moderne Kunst Frankfurt Am Main）に上陸。 2009年1月4日まで行われてる。
会場には１９９１年から現在までの作品（絵画・彫刻・映像）が展示されており、他、ルイ・ヴィトン（Louis Vitton）とコラボしたアイテムもあり、特別にこの展覧会のためだけに作られた限定商品などもある。
2009年2月16日～2009年5月31日期間ラストは、 ビルバオグッゲンハイム美術館に巡回。
Just a couple more weeks are left of the ©MURAKAMI traveling retrospective exhibition in Frankfurt, which ends on January 4th. Having already been shown in NY and LA, the exhibition celebrating the work of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami will have it’s final stop in Spain from February 7th to May 31st next year. Murakami was born in 1962 and works in both Tokyo and New York. In recent years he has become well-known due to his super-flat style, mixing high and low culture, as well as his collaboration with luxury brand Louis Vuitton.
