米TIME誌が、「世界で最も影響力のある100人 」を先日発表した。2009年度「世界で最も影響力のある100人」と聞いて誰もがエキサイティングで、待ちきれないニュースだっただろう。毎年この時期に、各界で活躍するトップの著名人を選び発表しているのだ。名付けて「The Most Influential People In The World 100」。今回日本からノミネートされたのはルイ・ヴィトンとの再コラボレーションで、先日表参道店に訪れたポップアーティストの村上隆氏と、ノーベル物理学者の南部陽一郎氏、そして、もう1人任天堂のゲームクリエーター宮本茂氏の3名だ。惜しくも村上隆氏と南部陽一郎氏はランクインされず。任天堂の宮本茂氏だけがランキング入りしたのだ。2008年度トップ チベット（Tibet）仏教最高指導者ダライ・ラマ（Dalai Lama）14世に続いたのは、若干20歳の4chan作者だ。他ブラッド・ピット（Brad Pitt）、アンジェリーナ・ジョリー（Angelina Jolie）らもランクイン。
