昨年7月に創刊した(HERE)「THE REALTY SHOW」と呼ばれるファッションマガジン。世界1,000部限定で、”東京” の今を象徴する5人のファッション・アイコンが選ばれたのは皆ご存知なはず。世界的に活躍する日本を代表するモデル、富永愛。ブルーヘアがトレードマークのMADEMOISELLE YULIA。CANDYをベースにファッションアイコンとして登場したDETTO K。NIREI TWINSと呼ばれる双子のイケメンボーイズ。ヴィンテージアイテムに、コレクションブランドを売りさばくFUYURI from Sister。
チーフエディター、ティファニー・グドイ(Tiffany Godoy)とアートディレクター、米津智之(Tomoyuki Yonezu)による「THE REALTY SHOW」。素晴らしいスタイルを持っているリアルピープルとランウェイファッションが出会う場所です。と格言したこのお二方。
そして、第2弾を迎える「THE REALITY SHOW NO.2」ではモデルオーディションを開催。今回 “THE REALITY SHOW MAGAZINE” ストリートスナップサイトとして知られる “DROP SNAP” とわたしたち “TOKYODANDY TEAM” が推薦する総勢20名のファッションアイコンの中からあなたのモデルを投票して頂きたいのです。

それらの結果を元に、THE REALITY SHOW で選考させて頂くとのこと。

Tokyo Dandy together with Drop Tokyo have been asked by ‘THE REALITY SHOW’ to nominate 10 Tokyo faces for the second issue of the magazine.
Whilst the main idea was for the nomination to be based upon style, I like people who also have substance, which is why I nominated the 10 people below, and why I want to give you a little more on each to encourage you to vote, SO……from top left…..
YOON – Consistently one of the best dressed women in Tokyo, Yoon goes way beyond personal style with her role as AMBUSH Visual Director and Billionaire Boy’s Club PR. Brains and beauty – Tokyo’s Femme Fatale.
YOSHIROTTEN – As half of YATT he is a member of one of the best DJ units in Tokyo and through his graphic design work and collaborations his aesthetic defines all that is fresh and edgy in Tokyo.
2BOY – Big respect for 2BOY who for his debut mix CD last year designed and printed the package himself whilst organizing a multiple date Japanese tour, all the time wearing his trademark MILKBOY suits.
NORITAKA TATEHANA – A genuine Japanese fashion phenomenon through his creations brought to global fame by a certain GAGA.
PELI – The one and only. Le Baron’s resident DJ as well as playing at many top brands including Louis Vuitton and stylist for titles including Vogue Girl.
LEO CANDYCANE – THE MOST daring of Tokyo’s style icons with a heart of gold to boot.
TOMMY – Managing Shibuya’s BOY used store Tommy’s look has a cult like following amonst Shibuya boys.
HACHI – Lives and breathes his brand BALMUNG with his own unique style.
MODERN BOY – A cheeky new comer to the Tokyo party scene, a true Dandy in his top hat and tails.
NARA YUYA – Tokyo icon. Displaying where hard work and talent can get you – to the very top.
