Thierry Mugler’s new Creative Director Nicola Formichetti released these two photos though his blog as we draw nearer to the January 19th debut of Thierry Mugler Homme with Nicola Formichetti as Creative Director and Romain Kremer as Head Designer. This seems like a match made in heaven. Mugler was always one of the most dramatic and entertaining of runway presentations with a futuristic, dark and wickedly glamorous aesthetic. The video below from the opening of the VH1 Fashion Awards in 1995 is testament to this. Actually, now would be a great time to bring back the VH1 Fashion Awards. Really looking forward to the Thierry Mugler shows.
