物語の始まりはここからだ、”from here” と題した「tiit tokyo」2019年春夏コレクション。真っ白のドレスで幕を開けたと思えば、惑星モチーフを用いたサマーツイード。ぶら下がる紐にふんだんのギャザー。カジュアルにもフォーマルにも活用できる、クラシカルでモダンな過去と未来を混合した新鮮な仕上がりに。
In anticipation of TiiT (pronounced teet) Tokyo’s Spring/Summer 2019 show, the was bathed in red light, a nod to the retro-future theme of the ‘From Here’ collection. After a fresh white palette, planetary motifs played across printed tunics, skirts and wrap around ensembles. The theme could have been overdone but was applied to beautiful effect, designers Show Iwata and Hiroshi Takizawa remain ones to watch on the Japan Fashion Week calendar.
