アート出版に特化した日本で初めてのブックフェア「TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR」。年に一度のペースで開催し、個性豊かな印刷物を通した独自の表現を続ける出版社にアーティスト、そんな彼らが一同に集結する場として着実に成長を遂げるフェアを、2019年7月に約2年ぶりとなる10回目の開催を決定。
Japans first book fair to focus on the publishing of art books has enjoyed steady growth over the years. In 2019 the Tokyo Art Book Fair will take things up a notch in Spring with a Ginza edition coming before the main event later in the year.
これに先駆けて、2019年3月8日から約1ヶ月にわたり、Ginza Sony Park（銀座ソニーパーク）にて「TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR: Ginza Edition」を開催する。「Ginza Edition」では、これまで年に一回行ってきた打ち上げ花火のような「祭り」というより、会場となる Ginza Park のコンセプトである「公園」をイメージしたものになっている。より日常的な場として、日々制作に励む作り手たち、そして彼らが作るアートブックと繋がる空間を創出する。
From March 8th, Tokyo Art Book Fair Ginza edition will take part at the Sony Park space. As well as retail and exhibition spaces, activities will be held that allow creators to demonstrate how they are creating their work in a way that engages with visitors on a day-by-day basis. more info on this in the new year.
