2012年に引き続き色々あった2013年。驚きの年ではなかったが、良いことも悪いこともポジティブに捉え前進。2014年は新たな自分開拓。
ではでは、2013年 総まとめ。
2013 is all but done, a good year but not a great one. There’s a sense of inertia in Tokyo, a self satisfaction which doesn’t lend itself to the fun nights out we’ve experienced in the past. Tokyo Dandy has always strived to reflect the Tokyo around us, 2013 was the year of the instagram ‘selfie’ and many people have gotten locked in their own world of experiences and achievements making Tokyo feel really small. This brings new challenges that we look forward to rising to. We believe 2014 is going to be a great year. Here’s a few things that went down in 2013….
上：日本ではお正月を満喫しているなか1月8日からスタートしたロンドン・メンズ・ファッション・ウィーク。まずは、TOPMAN DESIGNの2013/14年秋冬コレクション。
アイボリーカラーで始まり黄色にオレンジと深い赤とブルーのカラーパレット。イギリス大英博物館では、英国を代表するファッション・デザイナー、ヴィヴィアン・ウエストウッドと夫でクリエイティブ・ディレクターでもあるアンドレアス・クロンターラーに遭遇したほか、沢山のインスピレーションを受け充実した一時だった。また、写真家ティム・ウォーカーの展覧会「TIM WALKER STORY TELLER」にも足を運んだのだが、これまた素晴らしい（こちら）。作り込まれたウォーカー部屋にこれまでのアーカイブ作品がズラリ。
そして、ロンドンを後にパリへと向かった。ロンドン出身のアーティスト、チャップマン・ブラザーズとのコラボで2013/14年秋冬コレクションを発表したルイ・ヴィトン（こちら）。ルイ14世の時代に建設されたヴェルサイユ宮殿を堪能。JUN.Jのオープニング（こちら）を飾ったコリアンモデルのイ・スヒョクとKENZOのパーティーでご対面。
In Paris we took a day off shows to enjoy the splendor of Versailles which was reflected in the embossed silver print of Chapman brothers Louis Vuitton Collaboration. JUUN J presented a standout collection and we met Korean model Lee SooHyuk at the Kenzo Party.
東京に帰国した1月中旬。数字の”6″をテーマにしたcommons&sense ISSUE44（こちら）。「東京」を旅先に「LITTLE BIG TOKYO」と名付けたルイ・ヴィトンのトラベル企画。浅草に新宿・歌舞伎町のロボットレストラン。
Back in Tokyo, a feature for Commons & Sense Magazine had us shooting the city in two days for a Louis Vuitton Travel feature.
キム・ジョーンズを迎えて「ルイ・ヴィトン 阪急メンズ館」の5周年記念パーティー（こちら）。海の旅へ誘う2013年春夏メンズ・コレクションを披露。世界的に知られるグラフィティアーティスト、フューチュラとブランデーメーカーHennessyの限定コラボレーション（こちら）。毎年バレンタインデーに開催されるファリーンの周年パーティー（こちら）。世界中で愛されるコカコーラが、ブランド誕生125周年を記念してコラボレーション（こちら）。
Louis Vuitton took us to Osaka for a show, NY street art legend FUTURA was in town, Faline celebrated their Anniversary here with Baby Mary and Elli-Rose, NIGO presented his coca-cola capsule collection with BEAMS.

「smart」と「Jeremy Scott」によるスマート電気自動車「smart for jeremy」が日本上陸し、秋元ビューティーズとのショット（こちら）。女優でモデルの水原紀子とアマンダ・ルーポーの貴重なショット。VISIONで開催されたOnitsuka Tiger x Andrea Pompilio。トランプルームで開催されたジャポニズムにて（こちら）。レイチェル、ティファニー、ユリア。

2013/14年秋冬コレクションのハイライトともいえるCHRISTIAN DADAとDRESSEDUNDRESSED。東京コレクション時期に開催されたBANZAIのインスタレーション。「J.W. Anderson for TOPSHOP」第2弾のため東京に訪れたデザイナーのアンダーソン（こちら）。
Christian Dada and DRESSEDUNDRESSED put on great shows during fashion week but the highlight had to be the off schedule presentation by BANZAI. Designer JW Anderson visited Tokyo to promote his capsule collection with TOPSHOP.
花見シーズンに開催された「イヴ・サンローラン」新作ルージュのお披露目パーティー（こちら）。カワイイ東京での一こま（こちら）。「Dom Perignon」と東京の次世代を担うファッションブランド「DRESSEDUNDRESSED」の一夜限りのエクスクルーシブナイト（こちら）。スウェーデン発「WEEKDAY」本国チームとのナイトライフ。
We DJ’d for the first of two times with YSL, Yoon at Kawaii Tokyo, Joe at DRESSEDUNDRESSED’s night with Dom Perrignon, WEEKDAY came to Japan.
日本初「マーク・ジェイコブス」アーカイブ作品展が開催された4月。ランウェイショーで登場した貴重なショーピースに、フォトグラファー、ユルゲン・テラーによる広告キャンペーンなどが展示されていた（こちら）。海外からの反応も大きい川崎の伝統祭り「かなまら祭り」。フランス大使館で開催された「CARVEN」フラッグ・ショップ オープン記念パーティー。イギリス発「escentric molecules」の香水ローンチにてティム・ブランクスとティファニー・ゴドイ。
Marc Jacobs opened an impressive retrospective exhibition, Joe and Sara-Mary got involved at the Penis Festival, Carven held a festival in the grounds of the French Embassy, Tim Blanks with Tiffany Godoy at the party for Escentric Molecules.

大阪の後に訪れた熊本の街。熊本城に馬刺。翌日は阿蘇登山。
After a trip to Osaka with Nara Yuya we headed to Kumamoto to Dj and visit the Castle and beautiful Mount Aso.
‘ADDICTED’ をテーマに開催された「SHIMA」のヘアショー（こちら）。渋谷に店を構える「CANDY」とのソウル弾丸ツアー（こちら）。ルイ・ヴィトンの衣装をまとった初音ミク。大阪・道頓堀にオープンしたアジア初でスウェーデン発の「WEEKDAY」ローンチパーティー（こちら）。
Shima took things up a notch with their well lit hair show, Candy invited us to SEOUL for 24 hours – our first time there, Louis Vuitton presented Hatsune Miku in a remarkable vocaloid Opera, we travelled back to Osaka for the opening of WEEKDAY with Mademoiselle Yulia and Nara Yuya.

6月にスタートした「m-flo」の全国ツアー。タレントで芸人の渡辺直美によるファッション番組「ナオミクローゼット」の撮影。kitsuné maisonパーティーにて。イギリス出身のロックバンドThese New Puritansチームとのマリオカート大会。

映画「華麗なるギャツビー」に衣装提供を行ったミウッチャ・プラダによるプラダとミュウミュウの過去20年の貴重すぎるアーカイブ展がプラダ青山店で開催された（こちら）。TOKYODANDY5周年を記念したアメリカンアパレルとのコラボTシャツ。上半身裸のボーイズたち。TOKYODANDY夏祭り。
PRADA celebrated their involvement with ‘The Gatsby’ with a party at their Aoyama Store, we collaborated on T-shirts again with American Apparel for the Tokyo Dandy 5th Anniversary Party, Boys at Haight Night, Tokyo Dandy’s ‘Natsu Matsuri’.

We spent a couple of days with Diiv’s Cole and Sky Ferreira, Sandy Kim presented her first solo exhibition in Tokyo, Joe on the Streets of Harajuku, Joe’s birthday purikura with Yoon, Emiko, Takeshi, Elli, Yuya and Julie.

NEW YORK CITY! We spent a week there in Central Park wearing Lacoste, at Alexander Wang’s Harajuku themed party, shooting Nara Yuya’s book at Keith Haring’s mural, on the beach with Tommy Hilfiger.

We attended the premiere of Summer Blockbuster with star Rila Fukushima, We played again for YSL, a whimsical night with Hendrick’s Gin at Berry, up on the roof with NIKE.

Christian Dada dominated Fashion Week with the appearance of KISS, 99%IS show debut, DADA went even further opening a store in Harajuku, staffed by Teen Dream TAIGA.
新感覚のポップアップルーム「ICON」が誕生した9月。時を同じく誕生したTシャツブランド「KAJYUMARU」。NU ORDERをテーマにAMBUSHの新作ローンチ。TOKYODANDY NIGHT（こちら）。「大友克洋」と「コム・デ・ギャルソン」のコラボ展示（こちら）。

PLAYBOY celebrated their 60th Anniversary with Hysteric Glamour, Tokyo Dandy celebrated Halloween in Fukuoka with Elli-Rose and Nara Yuya, Renzo Rosso, Nicola Formichetti and Georgia Jagger May brought the DIESEL party to town, BERLUTI opened a beautiful store in GINZA.
