トム・フォード（Tom Ford）の初の監督作品となる映画 「“A Single Man”（シングル・マン）」 が、イタリア北部のベネチ（Venice）で開催された「第66回ベネチア国際映画祭（Venice International Film Festival）にコンペ作品として出品されている。そして、先日9月11日には大絶賛で、好調みたいだ。記者会見での衣装も手がけたトム。
日本で上映される日が待ち遠しい。
“A Single Man” is the debut movie from Tom Ford who is taking his stylistic vision to Hollywood. Making it’s debut at the Venice Film Festival the film deals with the story of a man (played by Colin Firth) who suddenly loses his partner of 16 years and still tries to go about a normal day in Los Angeles. First reviews are promising but we have yet to get a release date for the movie in Japan.
