ロンドン・メンズ・コレクション初日の2013年1月7日。メンズ・ファッション誌「ESQUIRE」エディター、アレックス・ビルメスとトミー・ヒルフィガー（TOMMY HILFIGER）がホストしたエクスクルーシブ カクテル パーティー。The Zetter Townhouse（ザ・ゼッター・タウンハウス）を会場に豪華著名人（ローリング・ストーンズのギタリスト、ロン・ウッド、ヴィクトリア・ペンドルトン、ベネディクト・カンバーバッチ、タイニー・テンパー、ジェレミー・ピヴェン、ヘンリー・ホランド、デビッド・ギャンディー、ハリー・トレッダウェイ）が訪れたほか、The Kill’sのジェイミー・ヒンスと、モデルのデイジー・ロウをゲストDJに迎え大いに盛り上がった様子。スーツを上品に着こなすダンディなイギリス人に、俳優陣やミュージシャン。当たり前だが、東京とはエネルギーが異なっていた。
I’m in London and attending some events and shows for the second ever London Collection: MEN’s week. On Monday night ESQUIRE Magazine Editor Alex Bilmes and TOMMY HILFIGER co-hosted an exclusive party at the Zetter Townhouse to celebrate the opening of LCM. The Kills’ Jamie Hince and model Daisy Lowe took to the decks to spin for guests that included Ronnie and Sally Wood, Victoria Pendleton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tinie Tempah, Jeremy Piven, Henry Holland, David Gandy and Harry Treadaway. Most of that was going on upstairs whilst downstairs we made the most of the Belvedere cocktails in the Games Room (easier access to the smoking yard). The energy of a London party was very different to those in Tokyo, Dandy guys in suits, actors and musicians there because they wanted to be… a full house until the bar closed. And how often do you get to party with Dr. Who and a Rolling Stone?
