「ヴェルサス・ヴェルサーチ」青山店…オープンを記念して5月15日にローンチパーティーが開催された。バーチャルの世界と目に見えない関係を表現した300坪の空間は、1階入口付近が、前日にロンドンで発表されたばかりの新クリエイティブ・ディレクター、アンソニー・バカレロによる2015年秋冬コレクションがディスプレイされていた（就任して初のコレクション）。奥へ進むとヴェルサーチのアイコニックなモチーフが、キャンディーや葉巻（チョコレート）となって空間演出。モニターには2015年秋冬コレクションのキャンペーン映像が流れている。上階では、昨年9月に開催された都市型巨大ダンスフェスティバル「ULTRA JAPAN」への出演も経験んしているKSUKEと、E-girlsのErieによるDJさばき。会場には、ファッション業界人はもちろん、モデルで女優の水原希子にローラ、菜々緒、IMALUと多くの著名人が駆けつけたほか、インフルエンサーに次世代のスターと幅広い層の招待者を招き大盛況となった。

VERSUS VERSACE celebrated the opening of their Japanese flagship in Aoyama Friday night. Fueled by the sugar rush of VERSUS branded CANDY Bars, invited guests partied over the stores two floors to music played by DJ’s KSUKE, E-Girls Erie and TOKYO DANDY. The Japanese equivalent of a ‘Break the Internet’ moment came with the meeting of models Rola and Kiko Mizuhara. Fashion & TV personalities mixed with Tokyo’s newest faces, party kids brining the character and color of Tokyo’s street style to the world of VERSUS VERSACE as video monitors played the video of the brands latest collection which, coincidentally, had taken taken lace the evening before in London. This was the first VERSUS VERSACE collection with Anthony Vaccarello in his role as permanent Creative Director of the brand.
