ついつい立ち止まってしまう鮮明なピンクのネオンサイン「Vivienne Westwood」青山店。
「ヴィヴィアン・ウエストウッド」の友人でもあるイタリアのアンダーグラウンドカルチャーを代表するサイケデリックアーティスト、「マッテオ・グアルナッチャ」とのコラボレーション アイテム（クラッチバック、ボストンバック、Tシャツ）が5月9日より発売されている。前日のレセプションパーティーでは、発売を記念してマッテオ本人もこのために来日したほか、ヴィヴィアンの衣装に身を纏った著名人にモデルらが駆けつけた。
店内には、マッテオがヴィヴィアン・ウエストウッドへのオマージュを込めた代表的なアーカイブ作品や、彼女自身が影響を受けてきた人々、また彼女が世の中に対して発してきたメッセージ的行動などを盛り込んだイラストが展示されている。詳しくはこちら！
Artist Matteo Guarnaccia’s distinct psychedelic art transcended the traditional canvas to collaborate in a line of bags and T-Shirts with Vivienne Westwood. The joining of these creative forces was feted with a cocktail party this past Friday at VW’s flagship Aoyama store. The distinct pink neon sign welcomed guests to a part store/part gallery set-up over two floors, Peli’s Dj set bouncing of the walls decorated with Guarnaccia’s colorful collage works. The Artist himself was on hand for the celebrations, his work given a manga/vintage print edge for the collaboration which he discusses in the accompanying video.
