映像ディレクターとして活動するフランス出身のヨアン・ルモワンヌ（Yoann Lemoine）による「 WOODKID」のシングル曲「IRON」のPVに釘付け。クオリティーの高さはもちろん、彼の世界観を全て落とし込んだ一作。とでも言わせて頂こう。始まりから終わりにかけて目がいくのは登場する人物に、映像に映るロック調の演出。タトゥーだらけのBAD BOY。白馬にフクロウ。スタイリング、エレン・Af・ジェイエルスタン（Ellen Af Geijerstam）。
また、ヨアン・ルモワンヌは、フランスのTV CMで放送されるエイズ撲滅キャンペーン「AIDES」のCMなども手掛けている。日本では過激すぎて … 直接的すぎて … あり得ないのかもしれないが、ユニークで面白い。コレくらいオープンに訴えかけるフランス。テレビを通してエイズという病気を認識し、コンドームを使わなければいけないというメッセージ。SEX LIFEを楽しむにはコンドームを使用するべし。危険な行動はストップすべし。

Post-Earthquake we’ve been a little slow with posts, but rest assured we’ve been working on a lot of different stuff. Here’s something that was on our radar a couple of months back but we didn’t get round to putting up then. Although late this is an amazing music video and needs to be seen by as many people as possible, it’s the video for ‘IRON’ by WOODKID. WOODKID, also known as Yoann Lemoine, directed the video for the track himself. It wouldn’t sound out of place on These New Puritans ‘Hidden’, the sprawling sonic sound scape canonized by an epic black and white film.
It’s interesting how many photographers are returning to film whereas with video digital technology is enabling an ever growing community to get even more creative with there output.
