メンズ・ウィメンズのアパレルはもちろん、フットウェアにアクセサリーが揃う「Y-3」の国内最大店が3月18日 表参道ヒルズにオープンした。
約220平方メートルの店内では、ポップアップスペースも常設し、アディダスによるコラボレーションアイテムも販売予定。オープンを記念して開催されたお披露目では、東京中の「Y-3」ファンが集結したほか、モデルの秋元梢にSHIMAのアートディレクターを務める奈良裕也、そしてTOKYODANDYのシャッフルDJで会場はヒートアップ。また、山本耀司の娘で”LIMI feu”のデザイナーでもある山本里美など多くのゲストがお祝いに駆けつけた。
オープンを記念して、毎シーズン人気を博している「QASA HIGH」のトリプルブラックカラーや、表参道店限定Tシャツの発売＋2万1,600円（税込）以上購入すると先着で記念トートバックがプレゼント（無くなり次第終了）とのこと。
adidas Y-3 said ‘HELLO’ to Omotesando last week with the opening of a new store on the basement floor of Omotesando Hills. At 220 square metres this is the largest Y-3 store in Japan, the contemporary minimalist interior is finished in a sleek, futuristic style within which women’s and men’s apparel, shoes and special collaboration items are displayed.
TOKYO DANDY joined Nara Yuya and Akimoto Kozue to DJ at the opening of the store where Limi Yamamoto was amongst the friends and guests that came through. The party not only marked the opening of the Y-3 store but the 10th Anniversary of the Omotesando Hills shopping complex. Y-3 has opened in the same corner at MM6 and Mihara Yasuhiuro which marks a shift towards a more discerning Harajuku/Aoyama consumer.
