オリー（ヴォーカル）＆エムリ（シンセサイザー/リズム）＆マイキー（シンセサイザー/ベール）からなる「Years & Years」をご存知だろうか。世界中で話題の3人組エレクトロ・ユニット。街中のあらゆるところから流れるあのサウンド。そんな彼らが12月4日にデビューアルバム「Communion（日本盤）」をリリースした。
そしてもう1人の注目人物、日本のみならず世界的に活躍するダンサー/コレオグラフィーの「菅原小春」。最近では、2015年6月に放送された情熱大陸に出演し独自のスタイルでダンスを披露、スティーヴィー・ワンダーとのCM共演と既にファッション業界からもオファーが絶えず、キャンペーンなどにも抜擢されている彼女。さらに、先月（11月）開催された各分野で圧倒的な活躍/輝きを見せる女性たちに贈る「VOGUE JAPAN WOMEN OF THE YEAR 2015」の受賞者の1人に。そんな彼女が、情熱大陸出演の際に使用した「Years & Years」の「Desire」日本版ミュージック・ビデオを監修＆出演。
British electronica trio Years & Years have had a stellar year which they are rounding off with the Japanese release of their debut album ‘Communion’ (Dec. 4th). To mark the occasion a Japanese version of the music video for the bands track ‘Desire’ has been released. Starring Contemporary Dancer Koharau Sugawara, the short clip features a Director who channels his desire for dance through Koharu, who was styled by Tokyo Dandy’s Joe.
