2011年10月19日、ベルサール渋谷ファースト（belle salle SHIBUYA FIRST）にて発表された「yoshio kubo（ヨシオクボ）」の2012年春夏コレクション。会場中央では「iLL, LAMA」による生演奏で良いお出迎え。ショーが始まると同時にオリジナルのバンド演奏がスタート。早速登場したファーストモデル。まず … 目に飛び込んできたのはグラフィック調のライン。斜めに流れる絶妙なラインに立体的に交錯する縦糸と横糸。糸と糸が上手に絡み合い立体的に（ジャガード）。そして … 登場したヨシオクボならではのグラフィック。ヨシオクボと言えば、必ずと言ってもいい程登場するグラフィカルな柄に見応えあるコントラスト。今回のスタイリングポイントは重ね着技に違いない。柄と柄のレイヤード。上下のバランス感。そして、根元の黒いブロンドヘアに統一されたモデルズたち。

Designer Yoshio Kubo indulged his love of graphic prints for his Spring Summer 2012 collection, shown as part of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Tokyo yesterday. As a live band played ‘in the round’, the boho bleached hair boys took turns in multi-colored and patterned knits which included a lot of covetable shorts, often worn over pants. The Yoshio Kubo man is slimmed down for S/S 2012, sharp tailoring was seen in a number of pieces which used contrasts in fabrics to maintain the brands flare. A dandy-esque carry case worn as a rucksack was a nice touch. One of the strongest shows we’ve seen from Yoshio Kubo so far.
